Growing appetite to switch to electric among van fleet drivers
New research has shown there is a rising interest among van fleet drivers to swap their combustion engine vehicle for its electric alternative.
According to figures published by Churchill Expert, as many as seven in 10 drivers admitted they would prefer to be behind the wheel of their electric equivalent.
In the age of electrification, the figures represent a seismic shift in the mindset of fleet van drivers, with just 15% of drivers questioned admitting they would still prefer their petrol or diesel models.
Fleet managers are no longer limited by the number of electric vans readily available. There are now a wealth of enticing and efficient electric van models to consider adding to your fleet, including the likes of the Citroen e-Berlingo, Vauxhall Combo Electric or the stylish Volkswagen ID. Buzz.
With the 2030 ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles on the horizon, now is the time for businesses to start preparing their van fleets for electrification.
